Comments: Doug Noren was welcomed as mastersmith at the 2004 Blade Show. His work is exceptional, drawing heavily on the work of the late William Scagel. More so than nearly any other maker, William Scagel's knives have captured the imagination of American knife collectors, with the unique shape and appearance.
This camp knife, which was one of the five knives that Doug submitted to the ABS Masters as part of his test, is very true to Scagel's designs from the carbon steel upswept blade to the crown stag handle with stacked spacers. Doug has chosen to follow the color themes used by Scagel, combining leather with brass, copper and red fiber spacers. The front of the brass guard has been beveled and fits perfectly to the 1084 blade. The blade has been satin finished for an exceptional fit and finish.

朋友你那里看见的这刀，除了刀鞘，这刀的外形让我太痴迷了。
曾经陈近南丢了一只SCAGEL，曾经陈近南错过一只scagel，如果这只合适，这将是陪我走过一生的scagel。

看来你有多年没有见到西门猪了，西门猪那只scagel早在2年前就转给我了，并且，我以最快的速度丢失在了茫茫的人海中。。。。那是我心中永远的痛，1分钟的时候，没了就是没了，回头找了半天也没找到。唉。。。。
PJ TOMES的缎面很“量产”，但就实用效果，小猪说是非常好，因在我手里不超过3天，故而我也没机会使用，但他的柄，手感都是让我难忘的，因那只scagel才让我看上scagel，楼主贴的东西这几天正在ebay上挂着，我正在挣扎。

早期的兰德尔猎刀有很多是这种形制的刀柄,该刀的创新之处只是在刀头背部的三角突起,当然也只是相对传统的猎刀形制而言.

评论：道格•诺伦的作品受到欢迎是因为mastersmith在2004年刀具博览会。他曾受到已故的威廉Scagel 的认可。相对其他任何制造商，威廉Scagel的刀子更获得美国刀收藏家认可其独特的形状和外观。
这个营地刀，这是一个提交给澳大利亚统计局大师赛的一部分，他的试验，是非常正确的Scagel的设计从upswept碳钢刀片的皇冠鹿与堆叠处理间隔。道选择后续的颜色所使用的主题Scagel ，结合皮革与黄铜，铜和红纤维间隔。前面的黄铜后卫一直斜角和完美结合的1084年刀片。刀片已完成的缎子例外适合完成。

大侠，咱好歹是玩刀的，MS也不能翻译成硕士吧。MS=MASTER SMITH，大师刀匠或者大师铁匠。
