Have you ever held the Tilt before?  It's the complete opposite of this knife, it's like twice the weight.  I've had the Tilt which is an amazing knife but I don't think you can compare the two.

Sorry, I don't have the Tilt before, just see the pictures and the data from other people...

I love the Tilt also, but it's just a different knife.  Because of the weight, it just feels very different.  The 888 is very heavy and solid.  Probably right in the middle is the 777 in any of the steel.

So Dan do you ever carry and use these knives or you just take pictures of them and carefully put them back in the box and hope they go up in value?

No, sorry but I don't use knives like that.  When I was growing up, my family was poor and so to use such an expensive knife when I can use a cheaper knife to do the same wouldn't make any sense to me.  
I collect some knives but mostly I just buy and sell expensive knives.  I help my friends find the knives that they are looking for.
I don't really  have time to go camping or anything.  The knives I use is to open boxes by cutting tape and knives to cut food in the kitchen.

Thank you for your comments on my post. I reply you here 'cause I can't do this under my post. I have been working in the U.S for more than three years after graduation, and I have to speak and reading English a lot for my job. My English may be not that good, but it is not that sucked either. I immigrated to the states when I was 21, but I have very belongingness to China since I grew up there. Unlike other immigrants who came to states when they were young, I feel sad that I have little chance to speak my mother language for months, so I still browse Chinese website and read World Journal.
Anyway, I shouldn't be too judge on others, that is why I did nothing after the poster replied to me. himself. So if my post makes you upset, just take it easy.

How about nobody on the entire BF has more positive feedback than I do.  I provide better customer service and pictures than anyone else.  And nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything, if you don't like it, you can't afford it, just move on.

I'm sorry if I can't to get afford to buy all the busses you sell, you only mark them up by like 150%, and shit with that much mark up you better provide some damn service and pictures.

So if you can't afford it than that's my fault? Lots of people can't afford many knives they like.  I can't afford many knives but I don't blame that on anyone.  If that's why you don't like me, I feel sorry for you!

Im not saying it is your fault, just be honest and upfront about flipping knives for cash.  Lots of dealers do and they have my respect.  Don't come in here pretending to be a flipper and tell everyone you are here to "help friends"

PS I don't even know you so there is no like or hate thing here.  I even said good luck with your biz but you had to get all drama about it.

Prices are dictated only by what the market is willing to support.  This is an balance of supply and demand.  So pretty, much how much someone is willing to pay for it would be the value of the current market price.  So if they prices are too high, they won’t be able to sell their knives.  
The price of gold, silver, oil, pork, beef, etc… they are change according to the supply/demand curve.
